Splendor score sheet
Your score is the prestige points printed on the development cards you bought, plus 3 for each noble that visits you. Reaching 15 starts the end: finish the round so everyone has the same number of turns, and the most points wins. The Splendor score sheet below keeps the final tally and the tiebreak.

A gem-trading card game: take gem tokens, buy development cards that make every later card cheaper, and draw the nobles to your side. The first to 15 prestige points ends the game, but only after the round is played out.

How to play Splendor, in brief
You collect gems in Splendor to buy development cards, and each card makes later ones cheaper. The race is to 15 prestige points.
- Set out cards and noblesLay out 4 cards from each of 3 levels, and one more noble than there are players. Use fewer gems with 2 or 3 players.
- Do one thing a turnTake 3 gems of different colors; take 2 of one color, if 4 or more are left; reserve a card to buy later and take a gold (wild) gem; or buy a card from the table or your reserve.
- Let your cards payEach card you own is a lasting 1-gem discount in its color, and some carry points. A noble visits when your cards meet its need.
- Finish at 15Reaching 15 starts the last round, so all get equal turns.
Only bought cards and nobles count.
Splendor keeps score in plain sight: every point sits on a card in front of you or on a noble tile. Gems and reserved cards help you buy, but they are worth nothing at the end. Count your points aloud at the end of every turn, so the table knows when someone reaches 15.
What scores
| What you have | Points |
|---|---|
| Each development card you boughtThe prestige number printed on it; a card without one scores 0 | As printed |
| Each noble tileIt visits at the end of your turn when your cards’ bonuses meet its need. One a turn at most | 3 |
| Cards you reserved but never boughtThey cost nothing either | 0 |
| Gem tokens and gold | 0 |
- Add up your cardsCount the prestige points on every development card you bought. Reserved cards in your hand do not count.
- Add your noblesEach noble is worth 3. One visits you at the end of a turn when your cards meet its need, and it does not use your action. You can take only one a turn.
- Finish the round at 15When someone ends a turn on 15 or more, play on until everyone has had the same number of turns. The player to the right of the first player takes the last turn.
- Most points winsOn a tie, the tied player who bought the fewest development cards wins. If that is level too, the current rulebook has them share the win.
A tie on 16, and Mara takes it.
Three players, You first, then Mara, then Dev. Mara ends her turn on 16, so the round is played out, and Dev’s last turn brings him level with her. This is the game on the Scorepad above.
| Player | Prestige on cards, then nobles | Final |
|---|---|---|
| You | 8 on your cards, 2 nobles8 + 3 + 3 | 14 |
| Mara | 13 on her 11 cards, 1 noble13 + 3 | 16 |
| Dev | 13 on his 13 cards, 1 noble13 + 3 | 16 |
