These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tabletales, a private keepsake app for board-game nights, operated by Comet & Clover Labs LLC ("Tabletales," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Tabletales.
Tabletales lets you save game-night memories (games, scores, photos, notes, and the people who were there) and share them privately with those people. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tabletales. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You keep ownership of the photos, names, scores, notes, and other content you add ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you and the people you choose to share with, and to review and act on reports (section 7), which includes keeping a copy of anything reported. You are responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have the right to upload it, including any photos of, or information about, other people you add to a memory, and that it follows the House rules (section 6).
When you add or invite someone, by name, username, or text message, you confirm that you have a genuine relationship with them (for example, they attended your game night) and a reasonable basis to contact them. You will not use the invite or messaging features to send unwanted or bulk messages.

Tabletales is for friends and the nights you spend together. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. These rules cover everything you add or send in Tabletales: comments, reactions, photos, nights and their names and notes, your name and @handle, the names you give guests, and invites.

You can report a comment, a photo, a night, or a person from inside the app. Anyone, with or without an account, can also report something by emailing admin@tabletales.gg.
We review every report. We don't look through people's nights, so reports are how we learn that something is wrong. We remove what breaks these Terms, and we may suspend or close the account behind it (section 11). Reports are confidential: we never tell someone who reported them.
You can block anyone on Tabletales. A block is private: the person you block isn't told. It keeps the two of you apart in the app, as our Privacy Policy describes, and you can unblock them anytime.
Tabletales isn't an emergency service. If someone is in danger, call your local emergency number.
Your use of Tabletales is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.
Tabletales relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Twilio (text messaging), and Apple and Google (sign-in). Your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms.
The Tabletales app, its design, and its name and branding are owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app.
We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms, including the House rules (section 6), or to protect the service or other people. You may stop using Tabletales at any time and may delete your account and associated data from You → Account → Delete your account, or, if you no longer have the app, by emailing privacy@tabletales.gg from the address you sign in with.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that content will always be preserved. Please keep your own copies of important photos.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tabletales and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which may be zero.
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content or your misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms and will revise the date above. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continuing to use Tabletales after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
