10,000 dice game score sheet
In the 10,000 dice game, a single 1 scores 100, a single 5 scores 50, and three of a kind is 100 times the number, except three 1s, which are worth 1,000. Bank your turn or keep throwing, but a throw with no scorers loses it. Once someone reaches 10,000, the others get a last turn, and the highest total wins. 10,000 Dice Game
The folk dice game sold in boxes as Farkle: roll six dice, keep the scorers and push your luck toward 10,000, with the classic count paying 1000 for three 1s.
How to play 10,000 Dice Game, in brief
All you need is six dice, a pencil and any number of players. Each turn you decide how long to keep throwing, and once someone reaches 10,000, the highest total wins.
- Throw all sixPlayers take turns. On yours, throw all six dice.
- Keep a scorer from every throwSet aside at least one scoring die: a 1, a 5, or a set such as three of a kind from that throw. Then bank your points, or throw the dice you have left.
- All six, or noneIf all six dice score, you may throw all six again. A throw with no scorers ends your turn, and you lose that turn’s points.
- Last turns at 10,000Once someone reaches 10,000, everyone else gets one more turn to pass them. Then the highest total wins.
Only scoring dice count, and only from the same throw.
The values below are the classic 10,000 count. Tables change them, so agree on yours before the first throw.

The count varies by table. This page uses the classic one Wikipedia gives; dice-play.com pays 3,000 for the run, Our Pastimes doubles three of a kind for each extra die and needs 750 to get on the board, and the boxed Farkle rules pay 300 for three 1s and need 500. When someone reaches 10,000, Wikipedia gives every other player a last turn, while dice-play.com gives one only to the players still due a turn in that round. None of the sources gives a tiebreaker, so a tie stays a tie in Tabletales too. Rules checked on 19 October 2026 against dice-play.com, Our Pastimes and Wikipedia (Farkle).
