How to score Crokinole
Crokinole scoring happens once every disc has been shot: 20 for each disc in the center hole, then 15, 10 or 5 by the ring it rests in. The two sides cancel, so only the side ahead scores, and only the difference. The first side to 100 wins.
- 2 or 4 players
- Discs worth 20, 15, 10 and 5
- First side to 100
- Only the side ahead scores

Crokinole
A Canadian flicking game where you shoot wooden discs toward the center hole of a round board and knock your opponent's discs away, scoring 20, 15, 10 or 5 per disc at the end of each round.

How to play Crokinole, in brief
Crokinole is played by flicking wooden discs at the center hole of a round board and knocking your opponent’s discs off. First side to 100 wins.
- Sit oppositeTwo players sit opposite, or two teams of two with partners opposite, each side with its own color of discs.
- Flick one discTake turns clockwise, flicking one disc from the edge of your quarter. A disc that drops into the center hole is a 20: set it aside.
- Hit when you canIf an opposing disc is on the board, your shot must hit one; with none, it must end in the 15 ring or touching its line. Miss, and your disc comes off.
- Score, then go againScore the round once every disc is shot. The first shot moves one seat clockwise each round, until a side reaches 100.
Count both sides, then cancel.
Nothing is written down until every disc has been shot. Then each side adds up its discs by where they rest, and the smaller count is taken off the larger. One side scores the difference; the other scores nothing.
What a disc is worth

| The inner ring, inside the pegs | 15 |
| The middle ring, outside the pegs | 10 |
| The outer ring | 5 |
| Touching a line between ringsJudged from the side, not from above | The lower ring |
| Touching the outer boundary lineOut of play, into the ditch | 0 |
- Shoot every discThe round ends when both sides have shot all their discs. Set aside any disc that drops into the center hole as you go.
- Count each side20 for every disc in the hole, then 15, 10 or 5 for each disc on the board by its ring. A disc on a line takes the lower ring.
- CancelTake the smaller count from the larger. The side ahead scores the difference: 60 against 45 scores 15. Equal counts score nothing.
- Play to 100Add each round to that side’s total. The first side to reach 100, or the target you agreed before you started, wins.
